Itsik Bergel was born in Beer-Sheva, Israel, in 1971. He received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering and the B.Sc. degree in physics from Ben Gurion University, Beer-Sheva, Israel, in 1993 and 1994, respectively, and the M.Sc. degree and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv, Israel, in 2000 and 2005 respectively.In 2005 he did a postdoc research at the Dipartimento di Elettronica of Politecnico di Torino.
He currently is a faculty member at the Faculty of Engineering, Bar-Ilan University, Ramat-Gan, Israel.
