Neural interfaces operate at the intersection of the nervous system and devices, supporting neuronal guidance, activity monitoring and neural stimulation. The meeting will focus on neuronal interactions with other cells and with multi-scale manmade substrates exploring topics of molecular and cell biology aspects, surface chemistry, substrate engineering and fabrication, representing recent advances from in-vitro studies to implantable devices.
The three-day meeting will include lectures from the world-leading scientists, tutorials and posters, allowing students and researchers in a wide range of disciplines and from many countries to meet and discuss future directions of research, from molecular mechanisms to clinical applications.
