Dr. Hadas Schori

I joined Dr. Orit Shefi lab (2010) as her lab manager in the first year of the lab foundation.
Dr Shefi lab goal is to have a better understanding of how neurons acquire their morphology and to use the revealed mechanisms to manipulate neuronal growth.
I am responsible of setting up and calibrate all the new in vivo and ex vivo models in the lab as well as guiding the student and leading research projects.

In 2008 I joined NeuroQuest (Israeli biotechnology start-up dedicated to develop early diagnostic tools for neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson’s) at its foundation (Jan-08), as a Research Manager. During that time I designed and analyzed clinical results and was responsible on the company clinical trials.

I received my Ph.D (2007) and M.Sc. (2002) degrees in Neuroimmunology at the Weizmann Institute of Science in the laboratory of Prof. Michal Schwartz.

I was awarded distinction prizes for graduate students by the Israel Knesset and by Weizmann Institute of Science on behalf of my M.Sc work on the immune protection in neuronal toxicity.
