Dr. Tomer Lewi<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Tomer Lewi received his Ph.D. in physics from Tel-Aviv University. He was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the California Nanosystems Institute (CNSI) at the University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB), working with Prof. Jon Schuller. In July 2018 he joined the Faculty of Engineering and Bar-Ilan institute for Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials (BINA), at Bar-Ilan University, as an Assistant Professor. His research interests include Nanophotonics, Light-matter interactions, Metamaterials, Plasmonics and Infrared Nanospectroscopy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Sukanta Nandi<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Sukanta completed his Master of science (MSc) in Physics from Sikkim University in 2014, during which he was awarded the gold medal for securing first position. He then received his MSc (Engg) along with Ph.D. from the Department of Instrumentation and Applied Physics (IAP) at Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, in the year 2020. His research interests include nanomaterial synthesis, device fabrication and understanding light-matter interaction in nanomaterials. Apart from research, he has keen interest in playing table tennis.<\/p>\n

Shany obtained her dual BSc. degree in Materials Engineering and Physics from the Technion. Following her graduation, she spent several years in Industry including 5 years in Carl Zeiss Inc. as an algorithm and software engineer for optics and lithographic modules and systems. Shany joined the group in 2020, working on temperature invariant metasurfaces. She received her MSc in April 2022 (summa cum laude), and is currently perusing her PhD.<\/p>\n

Vladimir kostriukov\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Vlad received his BSc (2019) and MSc (2022) in Physics, from Bar-Ilan University. His MSc research focused on investigating the magnetoresistance properties of isolated antiferromagnets. Vlad joined the group in October 2022 as a PhD student, working on electrically reconfigurable nanophotonics using phase transition materials.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Upasha Acharyya<\/strong><\/p>\n

Upasha obtained her BSc. degree in Chemistry (with Honors) from Tezpur University, India. She then moved to the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India and completed her MSc degree also in Chemistry. Upasha joined the group on October 2023, and will be working in a joint collaborative project with The Naveh group, on single photon superconducting nanowire detectors based on 2D materials. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
